My 1974 Super Beetle - Third Generation Owner

Something that I'm proud of is my 1974 Super Beetle. I'm the third generation owner of the car. My grandfather bought the car new in 1974 after he retired from farming in South Dakota. My grandfather only drove the car locally around Alexandria, South Dakota.

After my grandfathers passing in 1991 my father brought the car back to Chicago (Geneva, IL.), only driving the car from time to time. My father passed away tragically and after his passing the car was left to me, making me the third generation owner.

The car is all original, and to date only has 35,000 miles on it. The car has always been stored indoors and has never seen snow or bad weather. I have all the original paperwork for the car including the original bill of sale from the dealership. It is truly amazing. I love this car and hope to some day pass on to my daughter after I done with it.

This car is truly one of a kind, it's hard to find them all original with no rust, low miles and never restored and single ownership since it was new. Thank you for letting me share my story.
